Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#26-783 with Mark K. Borsody, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $1,140,000, to provide
professional neurology services for the period from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2017.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental, and Mental Health Specialists to provide
specialized professional services that are not otherwise available in its Hospital and Health Centers.
Under Contract #26-783, the Contractor will provide professional neurology services for patients, including inpatient
consultation, training clinic procedures, and on-call coverage at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra
Costa Health Centers (CCRMC) for the period from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2017.
