HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10212014 - C.75RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #76-516-7 with Howard Young, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $450,000, to provide professional radiology physician services at Contra Costa Regional Medical and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC) for the period from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2017. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On October 4, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #76-516-6 with Howard Young, M.D. for provision of radiology services including consultation, on-call coverage services, supervision and interpretation of CT Scans, MRI, Ultrasound, invasive procedures and plain films for CCRMC, for the period from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2014. Approval of Contract #76-516-7 will allow Contractor to continue providing provide professional radiology physician services through September 30, 2017.
