HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10072014 - C.83RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-539-2 with Kforce, Inc., a corporation, effective September 1, 2014, to amend Contract #23-539 (as amended by Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-539-1), to increase the payment limit by $350,000, from $150,000 to a new payment limit of $500,000, and extend the term from December 31, 2014 through June 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) positions in the Health Services Department’s Information Systems Unit, for the period from March 1, 2013 through December 31, 2014. At the time of negotiations funding levels and position classifications were established based on anticipated levels of usage and the projected needs of the Unit. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-539-2 will allow the Contractor to provide additional contract-to-hire and direct placement candidates through June 30, 2015. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, the Division will not have access to Contractor’s staffing services for hard to fill positions in the Department’s Information Systems Unit.
