APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the Public Works Director,
a purchase order amendment with Air Products Group to increase the payment limit by $105,000 to a new payment
limit of $350,000 and extend the termination date from October 31, 2014 to October 31, 2015 for heating, ventilation
and air conditioning filtration components.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This cost is to be funded through Facilities Services 14/15 maintenance budget. (100% General Fund)
BACKGROUND:
Facilities Services maintains all County buildings. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning filtration is part of this
maintenance. Each building maintained by Facilities uses several types and sizes of air filters, each designed to do
several things (e.g., pollen removal, bio hazard prevention, etc.). Solicitation of air filtration components was
completed on Bidsync No. 1009-001. This request is the third of three possible one-year extensions allowed.
