FISCAL IMPACT: No impact on the General Fund. Acceptance of this grant funding will result in $30,000 from MTC/HUD to help fund the Northern Waterfront Economic Development Initiative. No County match is required. BACKGROUND: On September 5th, the Bay Area Regional Prosperity Plan Steering Committee approved a $30,000, grant from the Economic Opportunity Initiative (EOI) of the Regional Prosperity Plan to Contra Costa County for the Northern Waterfront Economic Development Initiative.
