ADOPT Position Resolution No. 21534 to establish the class of Human Resource Systems Specialist (AGTG)
(unrepresented) at salary plan and grade B85 1613 ($5,339 - $6,489); reclassify one (1) Human Resource Technician
(AG7B) (unrepresented) position no. 120 at salary plan and grade B85 1308 ($3,947 - $4,798) and the incumbent to
Human Resource Systems Specialist (AGTG) at salary plan and grade B85 1613 ($5,339 - $6,489) in the Human
Resources Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The net fiscal impact will be approximately $24,000. The portion relating to pension costs will be approximately
$10,000.
BACKGROUND:
The Human Resources Department requests to establish the class of Human Resource Systems Specialist in the
Personnel Transactions unit. This classification is critical to County operations in order for the Human Sources
Department to meet the personnel transactions needs of our operating departments. This classification will perform
the complex technical personnel duties using computerized systems that process human resource inquiries and
personnel transactions.
