HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10072014 - C.41RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No.21537 to increase the hours of Therapy Assistant position #00012172 from 34/40 to 36/40 in the Health Services Department in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the County and Public Employees Union, Local 1. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $3.263 including pension cost of $752, and will be funded by Enterprise 1. BACKGROUND: In accordance with Section 52C of the MOU between the County and Local 1, permanent-intermittent and permanent part-time employees in classes represented by Local 1 who wish to have their position hours increased, must so request in writing twice per year. The Department must review each request considering the actual hours assigned and worked by the employee during the previous six months as well as the anticipated continuing need for the additional hours. The Health Services Department has evaluated this request, as described in Attachment A, and verified that the incumbent has consistently worked above his hours and the need for the additional hours will continue.
