HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09092014 - C.73RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, on behalf of the Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County, to execute contract amendment with the Contra Costa Community College District, effective July 23, 2014, to increase the amount to pay County by $45,000 for a new payment limit of $220,000, for services in support of Trade Adjustment Act/Community College and Career Training programs with no change in the term June 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: County to receive up to $220,000 (100% Federal) from Contra Costa Community College District, U.S. Department of Labor Design it Build it Ship it grant. No County match. CFDA #19.282. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Without increased funding, Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County would be unable to increase and deliver ongoing services.
