HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08122014 - C.93RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment & Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Nulinx International Inc., including a modified indemnification language, in an amount not to exceed $36,000, for the maintenance of a customized, Internet-based server platform for federally mandated family and child assessments, for the period May 1, 2014 through April 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Federal Head Start / CFDA # 93.600 No County costs BACKGROUND: The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and the California Department of Education both require that family and child assessments be conducted for each family within the program. The family and child assessment modules are required by federal rule to collect data on a family's progress towards self-sufficiency and the child's progress for school readiness. This contract provides for the maintenance of the customized, Internet-based server platform for data input and report retrieval.
