HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08122014 - C.54RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Robert Half International, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $812,425, to provide information technology professional staff on a temporary basis for the period July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: $812,425: Administrative Overhead (10% County; 45% State; 45% Federal) BACKGROUND: The delay in getting this board order submitted was due to Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) staff ensuring it gather and properly scoped Department requirements to avoid redundancy with other initiatives. Delays were also the result of getting Risk Management and County Counsel approval. EHSD is in need of information technology (IT) professional staff on a temporary basis to meet staffing needs to cover employees on leave of absence, such as maternity leave, military leave, and medical leave, while the Department is actively recruiting permanent IT professionals. Temporary appointments will be for a specific pre-determined period of time.
