APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute Amendment No. 6 to Agreement No. 208
between the County and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority, to increase the compensation limit by $270,054,
to a new limit of $7,048,054, and to add services provided by the County for the State Route 4 Widening Somersville
Road to State Route 160 Project, East County area, as recommended by the Public Works Director. Project No.
4660-6X4168, (ACQ/3540)
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) funds.
BACKGROUND:
CCTA requires a variety of right of way services but has no right of way staff and has contracted with the County for
these services. On June 21, 2006, the Board approved the original Agreement No. 208 for the State Route 4 East
Widening Somersville Road to State Route 160 Project for right of way acquisition services. The parties now wish to
modify the scope of services to include additional right of way acquisition services for ongoing condemnation and
out of scope demolition activities, and to increase the total compensation paid to the County for those services.
