ACCEPTED the Draft Report and requested Fitch & Associates to include today's commentary and requests in
consideration of the Final Draft, including but not limited to: a summary of major points submitted by stakeholders, a
delineation of factors that are needed to prepare the upcoming RFP for ambulance services versus long-term
considerations, and total time of patient transport from call location to care site with and without the closure of Doctors
Medical Center ; REQUESTED a report or presentation from Chief Carman be scheduled for the next meeting of the
Board of Directors of the Fire Protection District; and REQUESTED EMS Director Pat Frost work with the County
Administrator on the rate disparity issue for cost of service in relation to the current American Medical Response (AMR)
contract.

Supervisor Gioa requested from the Sheriff's Department a delineation of staffing of resident deputy positions of each
station and the source of funding for them.
CLOSED the hearing; Adopted the recommendations as presented; DIRECTED the County Administrator work with the
District Attorney on options for funding and the future prioritization of a Forensic Accountant position; and DIRECTED
the Employment and Human Services Director to converse with the new Multi-Faith Coalition on outreach efforts for the
CalFresh Program.

a majority of the members of the Board of Supervisors less than 72 hours prior to that meeting are available for public inspection at 651
Pine Street, First Floor, Room 106, Martinez, CA 94553, during normal business hours.
All matters listed under CONSENT ITEMS are considered by the Board to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be
no separate discussion of these items unless requested by a member of the Board or a member of the public prior to the time the Board
votes on the motion to adopt.
Persons who wish to speak on matters set for PUBLIC HEARINGS will be heard when the Chair calls for comments from those
persons who are in support thereof or in opposition thereto. After persons have spoken, the hearing is closed and the matter is subject to
discussion and action by the Board. Comments on matters listed on the agenda or otherwise within the purview of the Board of
