Subject:Contract #26-718-1 with The Wright Institute
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2014.
Due to Contractor’s agreement to provide additional services in expanding its neuro-psychology assessments to
ambulatory clinics throughout Contra Costa County, the Division was not able to process a renewal in a timely
manner. Approval of Contract #26-718-1, will allow the Contractor continue providing services, including
consultation to primary care providers, short term interventions, individual and group therapy sessions, and
psychopharmacologic consultations, through June 30, 2017.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this Contract is not approved, patients requiring these medical services would have longer wait times and
possibly go untreated at Contra Costa Regional Medical and Contra Costa Health Centers.
