HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07292014 - C.97RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-774 with Robert Arthur Buckley, M.D. a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $144,000, to provide orthopedic physician services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Centers and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC) for the period from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. Costs depend upon utilization. As appropriate, patients and/or third party payors will be billed for services. BACKGROUND: For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental, and Mental Health specialists to provide specialized services not otherwise available in its hospital and health centers. Under contract #26-774, the Contractor will provide professional orthopedic services including clinic coverage, consultation and training at CCRMC through June 30, 2015.
