HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07292014 - C.49RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21491 to add one Mental Health Clinical Specialist (VQSB) position at salary level QT2 1384 ($4382.92 - 6506.46) and one Mental Health Clinical Specialist - Project position (VQS2) at salary level QT2 1362 ($4288.48 - 6366.27) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $255,815, including pension costs of $55,435, and will be fully funded by the West Contra Costa Unified School District as well as Federally Qualified Health Care funds. BACKGROUND: These positions will be located in the Behavioral Health Division's Children Services unit and would be assigned to work with public health's school based mobile health clinics. Duties of the position will include providing mental health assessments and short term treatment as well as consulting with educational staff at schools within the West Contra Costa Unified School District. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, mental health services to clients may be adversely affected.
