FISCAL IMPACT: Not applicable. BACKGROUND: Once a year the Contra Costa County Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board acknowledges both volunteer and non-volunteer individuals and groups that have significantly contributed towards reducing the abuse of alcohol and other drugs in Contra Costa communities. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The individuals who have significantly contributed toward reducing alcohol and other drug use in Contra Costa County will not be recognized.
