The NNA Agreement requires counties to provide Drug/Medi-Cal services up to their full State General Fund allocation for Drug/Medi-Cal match. If the required services exceed the allocation, counties may access Drug/Medi-Cal reserve set aside for this purpose. On June 22, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Standard Agreement #29-502-29 (as amended by amendment agreements #29-502-30, #29-502-31 and #29-502-32), with the State Department of Alcohol & Drug Programs Services, for the period from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, to provide Substance Abuse services. Approval of this Standard (Amendment) Agreement #29-502-33 will reflect a technical adjustment in the budget, an increase in the Non Drug Medi-Cal program portions for fiscal year 2013-2014, and allows continuation of the Substance Abuse Services, Prevention and Treatment Program, through June 30, 2014. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved the County will not be able to receive funds to support continuation of the Substance Abuse Services, Prevention and Treatment Program. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
