HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06172014 - C.99RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74–282–12 with Ronel L. Lewis, M.D., a self-employed individual, effective June 1, 2014, to amend Contract #74–282–10, to increase the payment limit by $28,320, from $184,960 to a new payment limit of $213,280, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 25% by Federal FFP Medi-Cal, 25% by State Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT), and 50% Mental Health Realignment. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On July 16, 2013 the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-282-10 with Ronel L. Lewis, M.D., for the period from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, for the provision of child psychiatry services at the County’s Juvenile Hall and at the East County Children’s Mental Health Clinic.
