Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#23-489-6 with Tango2, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $230,000, to provide professional
consultation and technical assistance with regard to healthcare information technology systems for the period from
June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On June 28, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-489 (as amended by subsequent Amendment
Agreement #23-489-1 through #23-489-5) with Tango2, Inc. for the provision of of professional consultation and
technical assistance to the Department’s Information Systems Unit with regard to healthcare information technology
systems, including project management, network integration and information security, for the period from June 1,
2011 through May 31,

Approval of Contract #23-489-6, will allow Contractor to continue to provide professional consultation and technical
assistance to the Department’s Information Systems Unit with regard to healthcare information technology systems,
including project management, network integration, and information security, through May 31, 2015.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, the Department will not have access to Contractor’s healthcare information
technology systems expertise.
