AMEND Board action of June 3, 2014 (Item C136), which authorized a contract with Steve Gray, dba, Steve Gray
Consulting and Training, to change the term from June 30, 2015 to June 30, 2016, with no change in the payment
limit of $100,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$100,000: Administrative Overhead (10% County; 45% State; 45% Federal)
BACKGROUND:
Upon further evaluation, the Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) Fiscal staff and EHSD Children
and Family Services program staff decided to extend the term of this contract to a two year term from July 1, 2014 to
June 30, 2016. Domestic Violence (DV) consultant provide domestic violence case-specific consultation, guidance,
and support to EHSD Children and Family Services (CFS) staff, enhancing the collaboration between Children and
Family Services and other agencies addressing domestic violence and developing interventions which include safety
plans for family members affected by violence. Services include assisting with lethality assessments, resource
information, interfacing between CFS and other
