the payment limit by $25,000, from $165,000 to a new payment limit of $190,000, with no change in the original

FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded by 50% Federal Medi-Cal and 50% State General Fund. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On August 14, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #24-950-43(12) with Psychotherapy Instuitute for
Individual, Family and Community Development, Inc. for the provision of Medi-Cal specialty mental health
services, for the period from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2014. At the time of negotiations, the payment limit was
based on target levels of utilization. However, the utilization during the term of the agreement was higher than

provide additional Medi-Cal mental health services through June 30, 2014.
