Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#26-350-14 with Merritt, Hawkins and Associates, LLC, a limited liability corporation, in an amount not to exceed
$300,000, to provide recruitment of family practice physicians at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health
Centers (CCRMC), for the period from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On June 25, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-350-13 with Merritt, Hawkins and Associates,
LLC, for the provision of recruitment of family practice physicians at CCRMC, for the period from July 1, 2013
through June 30, 2014.
Approval of Contract #26-350-14 will allow Contractor to continue providing recruitment of family practice
physicians at CCRMC, including a modification to County
