HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06172014 - C.67RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #76-504-11 with Peter Won, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $1,605,000, for the provision of professional radiology services for patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2017. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. Costs depend upon utilization. As appropriate, patients and/or third-party payors will be billed for services. Approval of Contract #76-504-11 will allow the Contractor to continue providing professional radiology services at CCRMC, through May 31, 2017. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, patients requiring professional radiology services at CCRMC would not have access to Contractor’s services, which may result in a reduction in levels of service to the community. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
