Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Extension
#28-848-1 with Kaiser Foundation Hospital Fund for Community Benefit Program, East Bay, a non-profit
corporation, to extend the term from June 1, 2014 through September 1, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None, there is no change in the original Grant Award amount of $43,483.
BACKGROUND:
On August 6, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Grant Award #28-848, with Kaiser Foundation Hospital Fund
for Community Benefit Program, for the Advancing Safe Routes to School Project, for the period from June 1, 2013
through June 1, 2014.
Approval of Extension #28-848-1 will allow the County to continue the Advancing Safe Routes Project through
September 1, 2014.
