CLOSED the public hearing; FOUND that renaming a section of Stone Road, between 4080 Stone Road and 4551 Stone Road, will advance a public necessity by assisting public safety agencies in locating addresses during emergency responses; ADOPTED Traffic Resolution 2014/4410, approving and authorizing the renaming of a section of Stone Road (Road No. 8987C), between 4080 Stone Road and 4551 Stone Road, to Windsweep Road, Bethel Island area.; DIRECTED the Public Works Director to file Traffic Resolution 2014/4410 with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors; DIRECTED the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to publish Traffic Resolution 2014/4410 in the Contra Costa Times within 15 days after its adoption, with the names of the Supervisors voting for and against it; DIRECTED the Public Works Director, or designee, to remove existing street signs and post appropriate replacements signs on the new section of Windsweep Road; and DIRECTED the Public Works Director, or designee, to notify the following entities regarding the name change: (1) each property owner along the renamed road; (2) the United States Postal Service; (3) the Contra Costa Transportation Authority and each transit agency that serves Bethel Island; (4) the Office of the Sheriff; (5) East Contra Costa Fire Protection District; (6) the California Highway Patrol; (7) each public utility serving the renamed road; (8) the Bethel Island Municipal Improvement District; (9) the Bethel Island Chamber of Commerce, and (10) the reclamation district with jurisdiction over Bethel Island.
