HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06032014 - C.128RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Change Order to Blanket Purchase Order # F46863 with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. effective January 1, 2014, to increase the amount payable by $100,000 to a new total of $400,000, for the purchase of clinical and pathology laboratory reagents, equipment, supplies, test kits, and I-Stat kits for the Laboratories at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC), from April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Funding is included in the Enterpirse Fund I budget. BACKGROUND: CCMRC uses reagents, supplies, test kits, tubes, controls and other medical devices and supplies to test patient specimens which are specific to the analyzer used for this testing. Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. has long been one of the primary sources of these products for CCRMC.
