Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of Health Services, to execute a Blanket Purchase Order with
California Ambulance, a corporation, in an amount of $150,000 for the transportation of patients at Contra Costa
Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and Contra Costa Health Centers to and from contracted facilities for treatment
or to transport patients upon discharge from December 1, 2013 through November 30, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Funding is included in the Enterprise Fund I budget.
BACKGROUND:
CCRMC frequently has patients transported to and from contracted hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and board and
care residences for required procedures outside the CCRMC system or for the purpose of discharge from CCRMC.
