Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#26-347-22 with Cross Country Staffing, Inc. (dba Allied Health Group), a corporation, in an amount not to exceed
$7,681,000, to provide temporary medical professional services for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and
Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from May 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise I Funds. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On June 4, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-347-21 with Cross Country Staffing, Inc., for the
period from May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014, for the provision of temporary medical professional services
including nursing, therapy, radiology and pharmacy services for CCRMC.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
of Contract #26-347-22 will allow Contractor to continue providing temporary services through June 30, 2015.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, patients requiring professional nursing, therapy, radiology and pharmacy services at
CCRMC will not have access to Contractor’s services, which may result in a reduction in the overall levels of service
to the community.
