(Represented) FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this personnel action has an annual cost of approximately $849,919.22 which include $317,696.32 in pension costs. The total cost is fully offset with Federally Qualified Health Care revenue. The School Based Health Center program is increasing the hours of its clinic services and adding dental services. The seven positions include one (1) permanent full-time Exempt Medical Staff Dentist (VPW0) position; two (2) permanent part-time (32/40) Family Nurse Practitioner (VWSB) positions; two (2) permanent full-time Community Health Worker II (VKVB) positions; one (1) Senior Health Education Specialist (VMWE) position and one (1) Registered Dental Assistant (V9WG). Upon approval, there is an annual cost of approximately $894,919.22, which already include $317,696.32 in pension costs, and is fully offset by Federally Qualified Health Care revenue. If this action is not approved, there will not be sufficient staff for the expanded services in Public Health's School Based Health Center, which may negatively impact direct patient care services. These newly added positions are assigned to the expanded clinic and dental services in the School Based Health Center program within Public Health Division. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, there will not be sufficient staff assigned to the expanded clinic and dental services in Public Health's School Based Health Center Program. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: This action is is necessary to provide staff for the increased clinic and dental services in Public Health's School Based Health Center Program.
