ADOPT Resolution No. 2014/166 to reallocate certain job classifications on the Salary Schedule to be in compliance
with the State of California minimum wage law effective July 1, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, the cost of this action will be absorbed by the Departments who utilize these classifications.
BACKGROUND:
The State of California has increased the minimum wage from $8.00 to $9.00 per hour effective July 1, 2014. In
order to remain in compliance, the following job classifications will be reallocated on the salary schedule to set the
salary step 1 at no less than $9.00 per hour on July 1, 2014:
