Subject:Consulting Services Agreement with Vali Cooper & Associates, Inc. for the Marsh Creek Detention Facility Bridge
Replacement Project, Clayton area.
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
to prevent future erosion issues at the structure. There will be no road closures. Construction management services
are required for the construction phase of the Marsh Creek Detention Facility Bridge Replacement Project.
Vali Cooper was selected to provide these services after completing a request for qualifications solicitation, technical
proposal, and interview process.
Public Works has successfully negotiated with Vali Cooper to provide the construction management services.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Without Board of Supervisors’ approval, this CSA will not be in effect. A delay in the design and construction of the
Marsh Creek Detention Facility Bridge Replacement Project will occur, ultimately delaying the completion of the
project. Project delay may also result in substantial additional project costs and jeopardize the funding.
