HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05132014 - C.54RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department to execute a change order to the blanket purchase order with Merry X-ray Chemical Corporation, to add $24,000, for a new total of $224,000 for medical supplies for diagnostic imaging and the dental clinics at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and Contra Costa Health Centers, from April 1, 2012 through March 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% budgeted in Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: Merry X-ray provides medical imaging products, supplies and film processor services to support CCRMC and Contra Costa Health Centers Diagnostic Imaging and Dental Clinics. This support is necessary so that imaging services and dental can continue to provide optimum patient care. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved the dental clinics would not be able to provide comprehensive dental care and the imaging departments would be without necessary supplies to provide certain imaging services. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
