HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05062014 - C.35RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #27-304-7 with Daniel L. Zimmerman, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $350,000, to provide professional OB/GYN services to Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) members for the period from June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan Member Premiums. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: In August, 2012, the County Administrator approved and Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #27-304-6, with Daniel L. Zimmerman, M.D., for the period from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2014 for the provision of OB/GYN services. Approval of Contract #27-304-7 will allow Contractor to continue providing professional OB/GYN services through May 31, 2016.
