HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05062014 - C.23RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21453 to increase the hours of five (5) permanent part-time Exempt Medical Staff Physician (VPW9) positions #12086, #15246, #9110, #13817, and #7753 at salary level 1P-2312 ($10,730 - $14,431) in the Health Services Department. (Represented) FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, there is an annual cost of approximately $159,109.86, which includes $38,424.49 in pension costs, and is offset by Federally Qualified Health Care revenue. BACKGROUND: In accordance to the memorandum of understanding between the County and the Physicians & Dentists of Contra Costa, the Department is requesting to increase the hours of five (5) permanent part-time Exempt Medical Staff Physicians (VPW9) positions #12086 from 36/40 to 38/40; #15246 from 36/40 to 40/40; #9110 from 35/40 to 40/40; #13817 from 20/40 to 28/40; and #7753 from 24/40 to 30/40 and incumbents as follows: • Position #12086 from 36/40 to 38/40 – EE #68750, Org #6308 APPROVE OTHER RECOMMENDATION OF CNTY ADMINISTRATOR RECOMMENDATION OF BOARD COMMITTEE Action of Board On: 05/06/2014 APPROVED AS RECOMMENDED OTHER Clerks Notes: VOTE OF SUPERVISORS AYE:John Gioia, District I Supervisor Candace Andersen, District II Supervisor Mary N. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, there is not adequate providers to meet the needs of patients, which directly impacts patient care services.
