HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05062014 - C.22RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No.21452 to add one Network Administrator I position (LNSA) at salary level ZA5 1694 ($5560.20 - 6758.46) and cancel Network Administrator II position # 15524 in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in a cost savings. BACKGROUND: The Network Administrator I position will be assigned the the Health Services Information Technology Division and will provide various application, network, and server support in response to staff needs. Duties of the position will include: software installation, setup, configuration, and troubleshooting; configuring, installing, and troubleshooting network appliances, storage, servers, and data center related equipment; upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining Epic related client, network, and server components; and documenting change management and creating policy and procedures. The Network Administrator II position is vacant and being cancelled as cost offset. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, the department will not have the appropriately classified position for the required duties and responsibilities.
