HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05062014 - C.06RECOMMENDATION(S):
ADOPT Resolution No. 2014/143 approving the fifth extension of the Subdivision Agreement for subdivision
SD06-09131, for a project being developed by Jasraj Singh & Tomas Baluyut, as recommended by the Public Works
Director, Bay Point area. (District V)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
The Subdivision Agreement needs to be renewed as the improvements are not completed. Approximately 70% of the
work has been completed to date. The developer has requested additional time to complete the improvements.
Granting an extension gives the developer an additional year to complete the improvements and keeps the bonding
current.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The Subdivision Agreement will not be renewed if the extension is not granted; the developer cannot complete the
improvements; the bonds cannot be kept current; and, the County may need to take legal action to complete the
improvements or revert the property to acreage.
