HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04292014 - C.53RECOMMENDATION(S):
Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase
Order with Complete Imaging Systems, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $600,000 for fax and printer supplies and
repairs for the Health Services Department, for the period from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2016
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% funding is included in the Enterprise Fund I Budget.
BACKGROUND:
Complete Imaging Systems, Inc. has been providing supplies and repairing Health Services fax machines and other
equipment for the past twelve years. Divisions with repair needs call the vendor, who comes immediately to their
location to repair the machine. Complete Imaging Systems, Inc. also sells printer and fax ink cartridges at a lower rate
than other vendors and delivers them very quickly. It is essential that the Health Services Department’s fax machines
and printers are kept operating and that new cartridges be available at a competitive price when needed.
