HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04292014 - C.41RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-671-8 with Precyse Solutions, LLC, a limited liability corporation, effective July 1, 2013, to amend Contract #26-671-3 (as amended by Contract Amendments #26-671-4 through #26-671-6), to increase the payment limit by $11,198, from $685,223 to a new payment limit amount not to exceed $696,421, with no change in the original term of the contract from June 1, 2012 through July 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. At the time the Contract was negotiated, the payment limit was based on target levels of utilization. However, the Division did not include enough funds to allow the Contractor to provide the services needed through the term of this Contract. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-671-8 will allow the Contractor to be paid for medical coding and tumor registrar services requested by the Department, through July 31, 2013. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not receive payment for services previously rendered under this Contract. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable.
