Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Change Order
to Blanket Purchase Order F42812 with Diablo Valley Signs, in the amount of $41,000 for a new total of $140,000
for the purchase of custom signs for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and Contra Costa Health
Clinics from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2014. Change order to take affect February 1, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% funded in Enterprise Fund I
BACKGROUND:
CCRMC has used this vendor exclusively for some time and it has all of the artwork for the signs required. The
requesting department did not foresee the added expense of adding signage to three new Health Centers as well as the
frequent changes to the signs at CCRMC and Health Centers.
