HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04222014 - C.98RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74–396-4 with George E. Hamilton, Jr., M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $112,000 to provide professional outpatient psychiatric services for mentally ill adults in Central County, for the period from May 1, 2014 through April 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment, offset by third-party billing. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On April 9, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-396-3 with George E. Hamilton, Jr., M.D., for the period from May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014 for the provision of professional outpatient psychiatric services for mentally ill adults in Central County. Approval of Contract #74-396-4 will allow Contractor to continue providing professional outpatient psychiatric services through April 30, 2015.
