HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04222014 - C.96RECOMMENDATION(S): RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #24-610-23 with Stephen D. Rader, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $218,400, to provide professional psychiatric services for the period from June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 16% by the Mental Health Services Act and 84% by Mental Health Realignment. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On April 9, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #24-610-22 with Stephen D. Rader, M.D., for the provision of professional psychiatric services to adult patients in Central Contra Costa County, for the period from June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2014. Approval of Contract #24-610-23 will allow Contractor to continue providing professional psychiatric services through May 31, 2015.
