Subject:Amendment #26-611-6 with Dennis McBride, M.D.
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
At the time of negotiations, the payment limit was based on target levels of utilization. However, at the request of the
Division, the Contractor will provide additional on-call hours than were originally anticipated. Therefore, the
Division is recommending a contract payment limit increase for the term of the agreement.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-611-6 will allow the Contractor to provide additional professional
primary care physician services through August 31, 2015.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, patients requiring professional primary care physician services at County’s Adult
and Juvenile Detention Facilities will not have access to Contractor’s services, which may result in a reduction in the
levels of service to the community.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not Applicable.
