Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#27-866-2 with Infectious Disease Doctors Medical Group, APC, A Professional Corporation, effective March 1,
2014, in an amount not to exceed $600,000, to provide Infectious Disease/Antibiotic Infusion therapy services for the
period from March 1, 2014 through February 29, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan member premiums. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On March 27, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-866 (as amended by Contract Amendment
Agreement #27-866-1), with Infectious Disease Doctors Medical Group, A Professional Corporation, for the
provision of Infectious Disease/Antibiotic Infusion therapy for the period from March 1, 2012 through February 29,
2014.
Approval of Contract #27-866-2 will allow Contractor to continue providing Infectious Disease/Antibiotic Infusion
therapy through February 29, 2016.
