Subject:Add one (1) Deputy District Attorney - Fixed Term (2KTF) position in the District Attorney's office
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
the Advanced Level position. The District Attorney previously transferred attorney staff into AB 109 positions, in
lieu of creating new positions, as a cost saving measure. This allows the District Attorney’s office to recover one
critical attorney position in mainline prosecution while still achieving savings of approximately $6,716 for each of
the next three years.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The District Attorneys' office will not have appropriate staff where they need them.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
No impact.
