HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04012014 - C.19RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No. 5057 and AUTHORIZE the transfer of revenue from Police Area 5 Rnd Hill (Rnd Hill), Fund 265500 and appropriate it to Rnd Hill, Autos & Trucks in the amount of $31,051.00, to replace vehicle number 2957 as recommended by the Public Works Director, Countywide. (100% Serv Area PL5 Rnd Hill Fund, Reserve for Depreciation) FISCAL IMPACT: The purchase of the new vehicle will be funded 100% through the Serv Area PL5 Rnd Hill Fund. BACKGROUND: Vehicle #2957 has been deemed to be beyond its useful life and in need of replacement by Fleet Services. If the vehicle is not replaced, costly repairs are likely to be incurred. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this vehicle is not replaced, the public safety officers in Serv Area PL5 Rnd Hill would be impaired in their ability to enforace laws and regulations within their jurisdiction. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable.
