Advocates nationwide have joined the U.S. Department of Justice to produce the Vision 21 initiative to advance effectiveness of this work. National Crime Victims' Rights Week offers an opportunity to renew and strengthen our partnerships and teamwork, and to highlight the collaborative approaches that are integral to the U.S. Department of Justice's Vision 21 initiative. Through partnerships, organizations can mobilize their experience, skills, resources, and stakeholders to help plan a powerful NCVRW strategy. In commemoration of National Crime Victims' Rights Week the District Attorney's Office will host on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Community Room located at 900 Ward Street, Martinez, a special ceremony to recognize the following Victim Assistance Program Volunteers: Amy Gallagher, Orlando Ortiz, Audrey Keegan and Marilyn Richards; and the following Award Winners: APPROVE OTHER RECOMMENDATION OF CNTY ADMINISTRATOR RECOMMENDATION OF BOARD COMMITTEE Action of Board On: 04/01/2014 APPROVED AS RECOMMENDED OTHER Clerks Notes: VOTE OF SUPERVISORS AYE:John Gioia, District I Supervisor Candace Andersen, District II Supervisor Mary N.
