HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03252014 - C.94RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Resolution No. 2014/73 authorizing the issuance and sale of "Pittsburg Unified School District General Obligation Refunding Bonds" by Pittsburg Unified School District on its own behalf pursuant to Section 53550 et seq. of the Government Code. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact to the County. BACKGROUND: The Pittsburg Unified School District intends to issue General Obligation Refunding Bonds, as allowed by Government Code section 53550 et seq. The refunding bonds will be sold to refund outstanding 2004 Series A and 2005 bonds currently outstanding. The Board of Supervisors is being request to authorize the issuance of the refunding bonds by the District. The District adopted a resolution on March 12, 2014 authorizing the sale and issuance of the refunding bonds (attached).
