Subject:2013-14 California Department of Education Preschool Program revenue contract, amendment 2
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
20, 2013 of the 2013-14 funding allocation of the California State Preschool program services. The board approved
the agreement on July 9, 2013. On December 17, 2013, the Board approved an amendment to accept additional
funding from the State to operate this program. This amendment is to adjust the days of operation and corresponding
Child Days of Enrollment by one day - from 251 days to 250 days. The State routinely amends these types of
contracts as more funding becomes available and as school calendars are finalized.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If not approved, County will not receive funding to operate these childcare programs.
