HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03252014 - C.22RECOMMENDATION(S): DECLARE a vacancy in Consumer Under 60 Seat 2 on the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Advisory Committee, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Director. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: The Board established the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority Advisory Committee in March 1998. Its purpose is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Public Authority Governing Board (Contra Costa Board of Supervisors), Public Authority staff and the administrators of In-Home Supportive Services. The Advisory Committee consists of 11 members: two consumers under 60, two consumers aged 60 or older, two consumers of any age and one member from each Supervisorial District. Mr. Gray is no longer eligible for Consumer Under 60 Seat 2 and is vacating this seat and being moved to Consumer Over 60 Seat 1 to complete his term which ends March 6, 2014. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: IHSS Public Authority Advisory Committee will be unable to fill Consumer Under 60 Seat 2.
