HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03112014 - C.51RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-489-5 with Tango2, Inc., a corporation, effective November 1, 2013, to amend Contract #23-489 (as amended by subsequent Amendment Agreements #23-489-1 through #23-489-4), to increase the payment limit by $730,000, from $4,240,000 to a new payment limit of $4,970,000, with no change in the original term of June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) for the period from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2014. At the time of negotiations, the payment limit was determined based on target levels of utilization. Contractor’s actual and projected hours of services through have exceeded the anticipated level of use during the continued deployment of the Epic system. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-489-5 will allow the Contractor to provide additional hours of consultation and technical assistance through May 31, 2014. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, funding will not be available for Contractor to complete the additional services required for Epic deployment.
